Welcome!

We describe, explain and predict variability in ocean life across time, space and species. We use quantitative ecology to identify the mechanisms behind the variability, disentangling environmental vs. human and plastic vs. adaptive factors, to explain how climate signals propagate through an ecosystem.

The Neuheimer Lab was established in 2013 at the School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa.

In February 2020, we moved to the Department of Biology at Aarhus University, Danmark.
