Catching up on lab activities

It’s been a busy semester - here are a few activities the lab has been involved in:

• In February, Nathalie Bach and Anna Neuheimer presented at the 2026 Ocean Sciences Meeting in Glasgow, Scotland.

• In March, the HAVBIOMAP group gathered for their 2026 Spring meeting in Aarhus. The group, funded by AAGE V. JENSEN NATURFOND, gathered to share progress on the co-development of tools for spatial planning in Denmark’s coastal oceans.

• In April, the BlueBioClimate group met at DTU Aqua in Lyngby. Colleagues from Norway, Sweden and Denmark gathered to develop guides for biodiversity conservation based on ecological and genetic research outputs. The groups is funded by Interreg.

• We also celebrated the research (and hard work) of many in our lab with the Qualifying Exams of both Line Bering and Nathalie Bach, the MSc defences of Emily Rosemergy, Anna Ryvænge, Ibrahim Mirza and Pauline Hansen, as well as the BSc thesis project of Anne Cecilie Kläning.
